What is "this one"? The reason you see no action bar in any screenshot is because I have them all hotkeyed and memorized. I use Discord Action Bars as well for that. My consumables and big fear button are from Discord Action Bars too.
 
Oh sweet. I still have no thad time to look at the mods so I could not see that you were using it already. The joy of conversing WoW at work. Can't try any of it till I get home.

BTW, did you ever get the names to work? I noticed in one of the SS's, the target of target was $nam. I think the variable for name is $nm
 
I have an idea for how to fix that, by using another module for that aspect instead of the one in place. I have to change the code in the actual file lol, but if it works, the $nam will show the person's name and it will be in the color of the person's class, ie warriors are brown, rogues yellow, priests white.
 
I have a question for the Ace savvy among you. Last night I downloaded a number of the Ace mods and played a bit with configuring a new UI for myself (yes, after the late UBRS run - I didn't get much sleep...). I got everything in OK, and configured FuBar with the addons to it that I wanted, but when I logged off and back on to clear some disabled mods, the FuBar plug-ins had reverted to a default config that bore no resemblance to the way I had just set them up. I tried it again and the same thing happened. Is there somewhere I need to save my config, or might I have a setting in my WTF folder or somesuch that is causing problems? I had completely cleared out my Addons folder before adding the new mods, but I didn't delete my WTF and WDB folders.

Also, the first time I loaded the game with the new UI, my personal ag Unitframe was showing up in a default config as expected, but when I reloaded, it was gone. Looking at the /aguf config window showed it as enabled, but I can't find it.

I can see im gonna be busy this weekend setting up some discord action bars, ive been lazy until now and all these cool screenshots are making me drool:P
 
for the ace stuff, i think you need to rename your wtf folders.

But, mirakle is the expert. He was out buying Apple's this afternoon. He will be on tonight for MC.

I'm not very ace savvy but I think that might be the result of fubar2.0, fubar 1.2 compact and/or Fubar Plugins (not to be confused with plugins <modnamehere>Fu's).

Try disabling all the new mods you installed and enabling the big, non fubar plugin ones (fubar2.0, agUF, etc) one at a time. You might be able to determine which mod is messing up your other mods.

This is why I choose to go as vanilla as possible. A lot less headaches, alot more game playing and fellowshiping.
 
Hey Badwin a couple things..

You might want to consider moving out your WTF and WTB folders and then restart. Don't delete them in case you find its too much work to reset all the settings, but at least move them somewhere else and try.

For the ace mods make sure you are using the winaceupdater, it will find the ones you have installed, check their boxes and hit update.

In the add-on screen at the char select screen, make sure you are not missing any dependencies (it will tell you there)

For the AGUF issue, when you move out the WTB/WTF folders, it will reset for you.

To everyone else: sorry I haven't had much time to help out here in my favorite of all threds! I still want to get my screenshots up and help out with you modders, but I got a new macbook pro that needed a lot of setup lately. I am almost there, tonight's MC was a good chance to make some final tweaks on the settings.

I went up to the tower where Mirakle and a few others were bunkered for MC. I wish i had taken a picture of Mirakle. They had a boom mic set up for vent, vent was playing on a seperate computer running thru a huge stereo system, two laptops, three monitors, an amp and splitter all set up, AND THAT WAS JUST FOR MIRAKLE.

I want a button cluster like Alhana's, but i want the rest of the UI to look like Yucky's.

I want a UI that hooks up to my brain waves and reads my limited thoughts.

This in turn causes my character to act. Thereby eliminating the clunky keyboard and mouse interface and allows me to virtually interact with my virtual enviorment of virtual friends.

Can you do that for me Mirakle?
 
Id like a list, but I could sift thru the Screen shot that Yucke has made of his Addons folder. :)

Turns out it was GarbageFu that was messing enerything up. Go figure...

I initially tried to d/l everyhting with the Ace updater, but they all errored out on me, so I grabbed everything manually. Once they were in, they updated, though. Everyhthing seems to be working fine now.

As for AGUF, I tried it, but liked the flexibility of my Discord Unit Frames better, so went back to that.

At work, we call this sort of situation an EBKC.

Error between keyboard and chair. =)
