The scuttlebutt about 8/22/06

Yeah, the world continues. Which is about what I expected! I figure Jesus will probably come back when we least expect him.

Even though it's in response to the August 22 hoopla, I found the Opinion Journal article I linked to before interesting. It's great insight into the Muslim-extremist mindset. None of it is really new knowledge (for me), but it brought it together in a way I hadn't thought about it before.
 
We could nuke them into submission... then we wouldnt have to worry about muslims. but that solves little because we would end up nuking each other to death, yay.

But I LIKE some Muslims...it's the psycho extremists, who are in charge in far too many places, who scare me.

I've said it before, I'm sure, but I'll say it again. Most Muslims have very little idea what REALLY goes on in the rest of the world. In many Muslim countries, their media is highly filtered. In fact, the main source of information is often Al Jazeerah. And we all know how objective THEY are...
 
The sad truth is that while all Muslims are not terrorists, so far, all terrorists are Muslim. And that is how a lot of us view them now. It is a stigmatism that will be hard to overcome due to the radical element in that culture. We did not attack them because they are Muslim but they attacked us because we are Christian. It is being bred into them and taught at their schools to hate us. Seriously, they view our country as the embodiment of Satan. The only way this is ever going to end is if we all go to war over it. I fear a bigger, broader war is brewing. What's going on today is just a small preview of what is coming.
 
That is not true every country have terrorists. Oklahoma City? All the attempts to kill the Presidents here in the USA? How we got our freedom was through Terrorist activity. So you cannot pin Terrorism on one group of people. Hey we armed most of the worlds terrorist we are to blame as they are. I love our country more than most people but we are not perfect :) I wish we were lol.

My apologies Dredd but I was referring to the terrorists that we are currently at war with. Maybe I should refer to them as Global Terrorists since they hate and try to kill everyone.
