I just installed my new memory in my machine. Was PCI 3200 I think. Baby Pie's machine has PCI 2700... Can my old RAM go in her machine? (Would double her available RAM.. She is at 512 right now)

nope. The faster memory will Downclock to the mobo specs/speed of the existing memory modules.

The RAM has to run at the same speed as the existing module. Newer faster memory will downclock automatically to the slower module or the mobo specification of memory limitations.
