I read on WoWWikki that the inscription profession is going to have an ability similar to that of prospecting ore for jewelcrafting that will be done on herbs in order to get the mats needed.

Just wanted to see if anyone could confirm this. Anyone been invited to the beta yet?

Hi. Not in the beta but you are correct. 5 herbs will be used to create an item, pretty much the same way JC uses ore.

For example 5 Swiftthistle will create a Dusky Pomace, the Dusky Pomace is used to create Ebon Ink which is used in making scrolls.
