LAWLZ Tek, Its just the marketplace. It bundles them together which is nice.
Okay, good deal.
Now I just need to figure out if the free game has GFWL attached. If it does, well, free may not be cheap enough to hassle with GFWL.
Downloading the "free" game does require you to enter your name, address, and phone number on a Billing Information screen. It doesn't require credit card information, but it's still more information that I'd like to give Microsoft.
Downloading and installing Tinker also requires using the Games for Windows Marketplace application.
I'm installing the game now. I'll post an update letting everyone know if it comes attached with the much-loathed GFWL overlay or not.
EDIT: It does use the GFWL interface.

It means it's probably more hassle than it's worth. GFWL = Games for Windows Live.
The free game is kinda "meh," too. Not bad, but not something most people will spend more than 30-60 minutes playing. It's the first "you only have so many moves to complete a puzzle on an isometric field with various gadgets" game I've seen in a while, though, so if that's your thing and you don't loathe GFWL like I do, then have at it.
