Seeing as all the talk is about same sex marriage today, here's what the Bible has to say about it.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9–10 ESV

There are other verses in regards to homosexuality but this is enough. It clearly states that anyone who is practicing homosexuality will not be in heaven. What we also have to gain from this though, is that idolaters, adulterers, thieves, sexually immoral, greedy, drunkards, revilers (those who are abusive), and swindlers are also listed.

Now, we could stop right here, but I think we should finish it out.

And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11

While we may have been these things in the past, it does not have to stay that way, in fact, in Christ we were washed of these things!

And to think there are mainline churches who have struggled so hard with the issue of should homosexuals be allowed in the pulpit.
