Judges 6:14–16 ESVAnd the LORD turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; do not I send you?” And he said to him, “Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the LORD said to him, “But I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.”
God sure does find a way of using people that, in all rights, shouldn't be 'the one'. He uses the weakest, meekest, shyest people to do great things. He uses the sick, the hurting, the broken.
Is God calling you to do something that "you can't" do? Something, that in all rights is completely out of your scope? Look what He did here with Gideon. This lowly man that God used to do absolutely amazing things. (If you don't know the story, I strongly suggest reading it.

Don't let your fear, your insecurity get in the way. It might not always be easy, but don't discount the power of God. God uses people in ways that, in our minds, make no sense. He finds drug addicts, delivers them from their addiction, and leads them to start organizations helping other addicts. He uses homeless, unemployed (some say unemployable) people to start homeless shelters to help other homeless.
God uses us when and where we least expect it. Let God use you. Let Him take you out of your comfort zone, and see the wonderful things He can do.
