Nice how you avoided the fourth definition.
As I suggested, you should read how the word is used in the rest of the bible.
I propose that the word means LITERAL generation, 30ish years, and it has been the job of apologetics to force another meaning unto the word to explain Christ's absence.
Now, you don't have to agree with me, but I would like you to admit that the possibility and probability of my explanation exists.

Your post is cute, but does nothing to fortify your position. What you have basically said is that you aren't willing to examine the evidence that I have given you because 1) you don't like it and 2) it may make you change your outlook.
Is that the attitude you would like me to have with you, or would you like me to be open to the possibility that you are right and I am wrong?

Ahahahaha listen in this world I am no part!Webster or any ol fogy that says what or how They interpret meanings of the world means just what, that their version is right! Eh? That was a long, rambling post that did nothing but reinforce my previous post. How can you say "it's 1" when the very first thing you admitted was that you are no Webster? This doesn't even have anything to do with secular definitions. The definitions I posted were culled from Strong's Concordance as part of the Blue Letter Bible. Maybe you shouldn't follow by "faith and faith alone". That only further serves to underscore my belief that the majority of Christians don't bother to actually do any research themselves, but instead simply follow, blindly, what they are taught by parents and their church.

Ironically enough a few days ago my English teacher said something to the effect of "think of all the turmoil in the middle east, all that war, because"
and when she said that she literally said "everbody hates Israel"
i don't know why, but it just seems sort of... correct.
and she said something else either the day before, that day, or the day after... but i don't remember what it was... it just reminded me of this thread [i must get on here too much -.o]

Israel has been through many wars throughout the years. Nothing happened after them. anyway, "3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her," I don't see America ditching Israel. Besides, when Jesus comes, no one will be expecting it.

Well, I heard someone say that us Christians have been living in the End Times for 2000 years. But reaaalllyyy look at the world and wonder. It says in the Bible that the Anti-Christ will be seen around the world by everyone. How is that possible without a TELEVISION. It was meant for a much later generation. And yes, I am one of those "NWO crazy people" as most of you people would say. The New World order is being finalized by politicians around the globe, and the one world government will be upon us one day, who will be the one ruling?
