Is there a "standing" collection of ToJ / CGA servers? If so, what are the the names/IPs, uptimes, etc?

I said "2007" in the title with the idea that perhaps this thread could list any/all UT-related up-and-running servers. Perhaps this information is posted elsewhere.

At pres time, we currently have a UT2004 DM server (The Landmass - ip address as stated above) supplied generously by Landslide (AKA Kraniac). Tune in most days at 10am, as Coldsteel and Blackbeard get on there a fair bit. I try to join them on Saturday mornings at 10am as well.

The ToJ used to have a full-time server, with UT2004, Counter-Strike and more being hosted on it, but due to various factors the server had to be retired, and we've been trying to raise funds for a new one ever since. (You can read about the server fund drive here) We're getting close to the 1/2 way mark for our goal of $2000, and if you can contribute, even if it's a monthly or one-time donation of $5, every little bit helps.

(If you're looking forward to games like UT2007 and Team Fortress 2 like I am, contributing to the server fund will help in getting our own server for those games before they come out.)

Not to be left out, there are some U1 and UT99 players. I believe this is a frequented UT99 server - 70.159.97.30:7707. Watch for jmorhy (AKA GoodOldeTaco) or Missionary on these forums, as they play both those games a fair bit.

I dream of running a Tribe of Judah UT2007 server.

I also dream of building a computer powerful enough to run UT2007 once it's released.

But mostly I dream of ToJ running a UT2007 server.

And the BOSs Bee thread Shagz mentioned in his post is jam-packed with information on the why, what, and how of raising funds for a new Tribe of Judah rackmount server.
 
Welcome to the group man. Glad to have you aboard. I play as landslide::LOB:: (LOB is the competitive clan I play with in addition to TOJ), and I'll be your server admin. I used to lead the competition team, when we had one. We also used to have a collaborative community team called The Critical Point, that had guys from a bunch of different positive-force-in-the-community clans, that played on a Jailbreak ladder just for fun, but that had to be retired due to lack of ladder activity. Winter break is coming up though, so maybe I'll start it back up for a month-long run in another gametype. Who knows. In any case, I hope to see you on the server! I haven't been playing much lately due to schoolwork and real-life relations, but after finals are over next week, I'll probably need something to fill all the extra time on my hands, and UT is probably going to be that thing. :)
