I don't want anyone misunderstanding me, so here goes:
I only play PvP battlegrounds now because of my schedule, not because of any lack of <3 for Redeemed. I can usually only play thirty minutes or an hour at a time. In thirty minutes in WoW, you can: (a) scan the AH with Auctioneer and post auctions, (b) attempt to complete a single quest (as long as the quest does not require you to travel to the other continent and provided you are not ganked by a tier-2 level 60 Horde), (c) argue with people using the Trade or LookingForGroup channels to spam Chuck Norris jokes, or (d) finish one full Warsong Gulch or Arathi Basin battleground.
Since I have Ulf logged in Stormwind Keep, I usually log in and immediately queue for WSG or AB. Since the advent of cross-server battlegroups, I usually wait less than a minute to get into a BG.
So when people are chatting in guild chat, don't think I'm being anti-social because I don't participate. I'm just too focused on killing Horde (specifically, Tauren Shaman) to notice most of the green text flying by. It's the orange text that tends to grab my eye, since it's usually the channel that, on occasion, helps me live a few seconds longer in a battleground.
And when I log, I usually do so in a rush since I usually play right before dinner and don't want to draw wife aggro after she's been sweet enough to cook for me. (I've even /afk'd out of a few battlegrounds for dinner.)
My point is: I don't meant to be anti-social, but I understand that I probably come across that way with my gameplay style. I just wanted to let you all know where I was coming from.
