13 And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ 14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified ratherthan the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Each denomination seems to have it's own version of the "Sinner's Prayer", but nothing beats the version found in this passage. Even though I have been a Christian a long, long time I still occasionally find myself needing to pray this prayer. Even David, a man after God's own heart found himself in need of a version of this. When was the last time you took stock of your basic standing in relation to God?

Lord we would not forget today to pray for Tek as he continues to seek your guidance in his ministry with CGA/ToJ. Give him wisdom please. In Christ's name Amen.
