Ok the ToJ mentor scheme is forming nicely... Now what i need is to see who wants to be a mentor or who wants to be mentored.
The mentors come first.. once i have a list of them i can start asking people to be mentored...
If you wan to be a mentor then please email me with the following information...
1. Real name/gamename/toj name.
2. Email addy/messenger handles/other contact info.
3. State/country of residence.
4. Name/denomination of church you attend. With info on what meetings you regularly attend.
5. Your age and status.
Now the toughies...
6. What you currently do as ministry in your church.
7. What is the vision of your church?
8. How are you participating in your church's vision?
9. What is your personal vision?
10. What is your opinion on /all/ spiritual gifts? (from tongues to raising dead)
11. Why do you want to be a mentor?
Now those questions may be a little intrusive and may require you to say stuff you arent sure about.. But i deem them necessary for growth if you are going to be a mentor...
If you have no vision then you wont go anywhere. If you are in a church with no vision..ditto. You cant lead someone further than where you have been already.
The spiritual gifts question is to assertain those who use gifts and those who do not. Not to condemn either side just to make sure you get assigned someone of a like-style of worship.
Please pray over this if you want to be a mentor.. it is a great responsibility.. you have the spiritual life of somoene in your hands. Anyoen who has run youth groups or that kind of thing knows what i mean. Please dotn enter into this lightly.
