With all the new members and the the amount of new members coming in every week, we need to start making some policies. This particular policy is regarding ToJ competition team members joining other clans.

POLICY: If you are on any of the Counter-Strike competition teams in ToJ and want to be a part of another clan's competition team, then you must choose one or the other due to a conflict of interest and the amount of people on the waiting list for our teams.

We have several members who want to be on the teams, but due to lack of space we cannot accomodate them. I hope that all of our members stay, but understand the decisions they will make if they choose other clans. I am not trying to be difficult, but fair, from the viewpoint of those waiting to be in line and our current teams.

I would encourage you to do what you feel is right, necessary and pray God's blessings on you whatever you do.
 
rgr this ties in with the fls post i just made.... any rangers or seals members in fls or any other clan must choose one or the other.... its hard enough work as it is..
 
they have to choose one or the other for comp teams we can still be in both if we're only on 1 team right?
 
well by making this policy u do relize u r making goose and maybe others drop off fls a team or toj a team right? but i also disagree with this policy but thats just me
 
i also disagree with this policy. if this policy does come into affect i would like to talk to the leaders of toj somehow. all of them at the same time though
 
I completely agree with elite... it's all a mater of dedication and comp teams require a lot of that as I've had to learn because I guess I have to drop .fls. which is something I'm not looking forward to doing but I have to do it =/. anyways.. now im rambling.. again dedication, you cant be dedicated to 2 things
 
I'm not part of any competition team, and I'm not part of any other clan/guild other than ToJ. That said, I just wanted to voice my support for the policy in effect.

It seems logical for me to require competition team players to make the choice to play exclusively for ToJ. Imagine being part of clan A and B, and when A vs. B play, what are you going to do?? (AND not to mention giving the opportunity for other players to experience being part of a competition team!)

I've seen discussions about this a long long time ago... and it's coming down to this policy. I get this feeling this is quite a "hot" topic... ^_^ Just remember: we are all part of a big loving family!!

the policy makes sense and is fair.

You aren't being kicked out, just have to choose 1 team to play for competitively. We'll all still pub together anyway its just you l337 llama's won't have 4 tags before your name ;)
 
rgr that i have relized wat elite is trying to do ehre and al though i agree with the policy i do not agree with everyone makling a HUGE deal bout pink

o ya and i forgot that goose doesn't compete any more lol
 
To keep this competition team going, and improve upon it even more, you really need the full cooperation of your leaders and team members. I agree with Elite, those competeing with .fls. and ToJ should choose their desired team.
 
I would agree with what Sun, and Elite said.

This policy may in fact help remove some of the players who are inactive in ToJ, and help the active ones achieve their position in a team.
 
Don't get me wrong guys, I don't want you to leave. All I am saying is choose one competition team or the other for the consideration of others who are on the waiting list who want to be competing.

If you decide to go with another clan for competition, that doesn't mean you have to leave ToJ. It simply means you cannot join the ToJ competition team, or will have to leave the ToJ competition team if joining another clan (who will be competing). Know what I mean?
 
rgr i know this affects a lot of people in the three teams. While i cannot speak for the A team, i know that anyone in the rangers/seals team have to abide by this policy.

Now i see that people dont like it. But there are people that join ToJ for fun and people that join ToJ to play properly. If you are on a team then you are exclusive to ToJ for playing properly. If you choose to be on another team then you will ahve to step down from your place on rangers/seals. this doesnt mean you are no longer in ToJ.

p.s. can someone make a list of wjho in the ranger/seals team is affiliated with other clans so i can start emailing the relevant info...

Thats not a real in depth answer. Why do you compete, in detail? For a sense of accomplishment on a win? For a sense of community? In all seriousness, please.
 
Why do people play Football, basketball, soccer or any other sport? I like being challanged and I like winning. I lose a lot but that just makes victory that much sweeter. Now go ahead and condemn me, I need a laugh.
