Maybe we could try a new routine, something like Morose, Opera, curator, chess /whoever

Tuesdays seem to be our BIGGEST day with the most 'regulars' attending. This would maximize those people hitting the bosses that actually drop the upgrades. Then coming back on another day and hitting attumen and maiden. that way..when we get to day three if we have nothing to do (or because we cant do it) MAYBE..we could take some newer players in to hit Attumen and Maiden.

anywho.....just a thought
 
Maiden drops nice healing/caster dps upgrades and we need to hit her, curator and op when we have our best team (Her mace alone is worth it for all our healers) (IF we get an event other then BBW it's going to require our best geared, best players, because we have not done the other 2 events but once and we need the practice.) Maiden is also easy to get to, only a few pulls and at this point we are more likely to one shot her now with our best group. Curator is also more likely a one shot boss now.

I'd start new ppl at Attuman he is not required to progress, and could be saved for a day when many of our regulars are afk. Or perhaps some regulars that no longer need him could sit out that fight for some new ppl to get experience/drops.

Moroes must be killed or we can't do op event.
 
Ah, im not saying we shouldnt hit those bosses at all -- but maybe save them for later in the week when it seems like more people are unable to attend.

I duno was just a thought! haha
 
I agree that we can put off Attuman until later in the week - we could easily use him for a learning experience or 2-3 people if we're short later in the week.. but we definately need more shots at Moroes, Curator, and Maiden on our mains. There's just too much good gear left to start rotating out quite yet

But I like the way you're thinking on this one, Holly. Maybe in a few more weeks, we'll be able to do that.

Maiden doesn't take much time and definitely requires a good group (gear).
I have no problem helping ppl learn the fight, that's the easy part, but our casters/healers (She also drops hunter/rogue/tank gear) need her to fall for gear and it's just less likely to happen if we lose to many of our nicely geared group. I'd rather do her when we have all our best ppl then to wait and see if we have enough later to get the job done. Also if we do put it off until later in the week, it might be less likely that core members who need her (because of their chaotic schedules) will have access to her loot.

I'm not sure how many ppl in the core group still need Attuman.
He does drop a nice epic mount, but that's not important for content progression. Finding member replacements for him will be much easier then maiden and will get ppl familiar with the content slowly (dmg out-put/healing/untauntable mobs)
 
Attumen drops some nice leather gloves that I would like to gem up with stamina or defense so i can swap out some other gear..but yeah i mean we still need to kill them but I think some of the tier gear is better.
 
from what little I've looked, tier gear is about on par with Kara loot. Remember that some of the tier stuff actually drops in Kara as part of the normal loot tables. I can't imagine that it'd be far superior (or inferior) to the other drops that you'd get from the same boss. I think you'd just have to chose set bonus or socketing.
 
I have a few pieces that are on par (perhaps better than) tier 4 pally gear from kara. I'll collect it though because over-all it's probably slightly better.

It may be that others need att to and don't want to skip/save him either, that's fine with me. If we do save him for another day I'm up for coming back and helping on w/e toon is needed. At this point..if need be..I bet 7-8 of us could take him.
 
I am looking at doing Maiden, Opera, Curator and Illhoof on Tuesday.
Wednesday we will pick up with Attumen, Moroes, Illhoof or Aran depending on how Tuesday goes.
Thursday will be Illhoof, Aran or Prince.
We will pick up the Chess event Wednesday or Thursday.
 
From what I remember, we have to do Moroes day1 because he controls the spawn leading up to Opera. Altho we'll have an hour, so if we move fast, we can clear the trash and have opera finished, open the backdoor, and skip Maiden, Moroes, and Attuman.
 
lawl, it was a suggestion hehee.. I wouldnt mind doing our regular bosses. I know for a fact this is one of the main nights renee usually attends and she needs gloves from maiden (afterall..we want her heals to crit for 20k!!!!!!!!!oneone)
 
I read you can't do op unless you kill moroes. Npc says something like, "Can't do it noobs, master Moroes sayz so"

You cannot start the Opera event if Moroes is still alive. Barnes says something about Moroes holding up the guests or some other nonsense like that. So...Moroes is not skip able ever.

The Backdoor will be unlocked as soon as you clear to it and someone approaches from the inside of the tower. I would suggest not skipping the Opera --> Backdoor trash as you will get lots of gold and it's pretty easy pulls.

Attumen is entirely option, but as pointed out earlier you will get access to the Blacksmith that can repair your stuff once you hit Honored with the Violet Eye.

If you want future planning on what to skip as you progress farther, the required bosses to get to the Prince are:
Moroes
Opera
Curator
Chess

The other bosses are not needed to get to him. Though Aran controls a great deal of the trash and allows you to teleport to his room when he's down. Killing him would be to your benefit.
