Ok I was wondering if its ok to shoot a friend in the head with a paintball gun. I've been playing CS alot and its second nature to me to aim at the head.
But once when my cuz was playing a guy got shot in the ear and it clipped the top of his ear right off. would u still shoot knowing  could take your friends ear off.
 
I've been shot in the head before, right above the mask. It sucks. But it doesn't really matter where you aim in paintball since one hit puts you out. So I'll say no to be safe.
 
You have two questions contridictory questions in your post and one poll.

Are you asking:

"Is it okay to shoot a guy in the head when paintballing." Yes or No. It is against the rules everywhere I've played at to purposely shoot the person in the head.

or are you asking:

"would u still shoot knowing could take your friends ear off. " Yes or No.

This second question assumes that one would purposely shoot somebody in the head.
 
its not against the rules to shoot at the head. Atleast not where I play. And after playing cs alot I automatically aim for the head. But I'm trying to stop, because I don't want to hurt someone.
I've been hit in the back of the head it didn't feel that good.
 
thats why you wear a mask. If it wasnt safe you would not be allowed to play. People will get shot in the head intentionally or not. So its not dangerous.. shoot away
 
I keep forgetting, I am much older then most people here and when I go and play it is with my son...there are different rules for the younger crowd. Which is why I much perfer laser tag with him!!
 
If you've never played paintball, then you don't know. I've shot people in the head and they've shot me, sometimes that's the only thing you see. It's perfectly normal, and 9 out of 10 times it doesn't hurt because you have a mask on. The only time it hurts is if it's the neck usually. I gave a guy a massive half dollar size scab after I dropped him to the ground with a point blank to the neck. Of course, a split second after he went down my dad got me in my neck and I was out. I have been hit in the neck every single time I've gone out. That was the only time it hurt though.

Paintballs hurt, but they shouldn't take a piece of your ear off. Sounds like someone was messing with the pressure on their gun, which is illegal generally.
 
Well I got shot in the back of the head twice yesterday, once by a guy on my own team, he had no aim. He shot me in the back and the leg but it didn't break, then in the head and it broke. Got shot from close range inbetween my fingers, hurt like hell. And I started bleeding. But it was fun. Played fox and the hound with my friend who's getting married. We must of unloaded 5-600 balls at him, only hit him 6 or 8 times. But his sheild was full of paint.
