Savoring Good Fruits

Today I went in to my son's school to drop off our offering for his class' Thanksgiving potluck. When I entered the room all the other kids said to him, Hey it's your mom! and immediately he ran up to me to give me a big hug and kiss without embarrassment in front of the whole class.

I know it won't last forever (he's in fourth grade now), but I'll enjoy it while I can. :)

That is too awesome. I learned a long time ago to not be embarressed with my mom. THoguh I did go through a phase where I was... >.>

I'm glad he did that for you!

That is great - and it can last forever. Our sons are now 30 and 27 and they still run up and give their mom a hug and kiss when we see them. Nurture the relationship - stay their friend (as well as parent) and you can enjoy it for a lifetime.
