Ephesians 5:6New International Version (NIV)

6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Sometimes we feels like we it is easier for us to disobey God. Maybe sometimes sayings like it's ok to sin since God will forgive you anyway or I'll just take the punishment like a man and it's ok to do it once is a while. Let us be careful with hearing words as it can deceive us.
