1 Peter 2:18 Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. 19 For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. 20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.

Being an employee is hard. And sometimes your boss do certain things that you don't like. Bossing you around. Saying stuff like you should know this yet you sense your boss don't know that too. Shouting at you. Don't even acknowledge you did a good job even if they feel that way. Treating you that you are the dumb. Wanting you to just follow without thinking. Telling you to do things that you been told you wouldn't have to do before you accept your job. Repeating instructions over and over even though you already get them. Thinks that shouting at you will scare you to do things much better.

This kind of boss is really hard to deal with. And sometimes you think that you should just try to act you are doing something so your boss won't bother you. This verse reminds us that we should follow your boss in their harsh commands. Obviously not saying you should follow them if they want you to sin. This is very hard and sometimes impossible in our mind. Stress sometimes makes us think to just quit your job and move on to greener pasture. And yet if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. I really feel sometimes that God thinks I am the most perfect person for putting me in a hard hard hard situation. Yet our weaknesses will show God's strength. Have a blessed day.
