I've been trying to form an Imperial RP, but I am having a hard time attracting people to sign up, but I do seem to have people pming to join their guilds. Are the methods that are more effective than other? Are there guild rules that drive people away? Any insight would be every helpful.

I think the lack of a launch date and any hard data on what guilds will be like is hurting you more then anything else.

I agree with Ewoks, the only reason I joined CFD is because I already knew Grim. I wouldn't have joined a guild pre-launch otherwise. The only advice I have is don't advertise in video or developer blog comments, so annoying lol.
