Man, I just got this today. It's just...wow. This is one of the games that really makes me want an HDTV, moreso than Metal Gear Solid 4 did. The style of the game is just so pretty. I'll edit this later with pretty pictures, but I'm pretty sure if you're interested in the game then you've seem some, plus the commercials seems to be airing nonstop here.

The open world play definitely makes it feel different, and it is a little weird for me getting used to the new mechanics of a new prince, but it's a winner in my book. Just from spending a little time with it today, I would 100% say give it a rent if you've got a system to play it on. Which I believe would be any of them but PC.
 
Agreed, this game is a breathe of fresh air to the regular hack and slash. More importantly, I love relationship between the prince and Elika, we rarely find such chemistry between two leading characters. I can not wait for the downloadable content to come out early next year. I playing it on the xbox.
