Greetings, fellow Tribe of Judah members!
I'm excited to report that Tribe of Judah has a Counter-Strike 1.6 server online once again! For more information on the server, visit our Counter-Strike sub-chapter forums. You can also click here to check out what map the server is running and who's playing right now. The server's IP address is 8.9.9.48. Tell your friends!
Our CS 1.6 server is the next step in a campaign to raise funds for a dedicated server (which we could use to host several game servers). As of the time of this post, we've raised over $800 USD toward our goal of $2000 USD. For more information on the campaign, click here.
If you can't donate funds, then consider donating your time and energy as a staff member. I've added two new staff positions, Fundraising Manager and Staff Manager, to ToJ's "Help Wanted" thread. Arkanjel has volunteered to serve as our Real-time Strategy Section Leader, so members who play Age of Empires III, Starcraft, or Warcraft III may want to apply to lead one of our RTS sub-sections.
In other news, the Christian Gamers Alliance TeamSpeak Server is back online. TeamSpeak is a voice chat program that allows users from all around the world to speak with one another in real-time. The CGA hosts several TeamSpeak channels for Tribe of Judah, its chapters, sections, and guilds. For more information on how to connect to the CGA TeamSpeak Server, click here.
Server news and open staff positions aside, I want to thank everyone who's prayed for me this last week. I'm feeling better today than I was yesterday, and expect to feel 100% with a few more days of rest and relaxation.
Speaking of relaxtion: As mentioned in my previous address, I've decided to delegate more responsibility and authority to staff members. This transition is on-going, and will allow me to spend time and energy on new projects, as well as reviewing and developing documentation for various areas of ToJ.
I look forward to this next month, appointing more staff, and, of course, playing on Tribe of Judah's shiny new CS 1.6 server.
