No School!!

Yesterday we got out early because of the freezing rain (fun to drive on ;) ) and today we have no school because God decided to dump another 6 inches of snow on in in the past 2 hours!! Roads are horrible but as long as the electricity stays up so i can play guild wars, i'm loving it :D
 
my morning class was canceled so i got to sleep some more and do math ^_^
 
Dang, that's fun. *tear* I miss snow days... Texas is trying to redeme itself though. We have a "Fire Warning" today because it's really dry and really windy, and apparently that means the entire county could go up in flames... :D

I'm jealous. My school doesn't close unless its freezing rain and snow and even then it only closes until 10.
 
lol, i get flood days. i live right next to a river and it almost floods every year. last year it flooded and took out some roads. i got a day off, but that was from a landslide... i dont get days off. :(
 
No days off here.

It's been beautiful this week: in the sixties, and up to seventy one day. Today, however, it's raining like crazy. Regular rain, not freezing.
 
No School again, the winds are 35+ miles per hour so the difts can be higher than cars in the country :P

Try SC....and on the coast. The closest we ever get to snow is that frosty stuff inside the freezer.

Now...water is a problem. If it rains hard enough, I have to take different streets into work, or get out the canoe.
 
lol, for the past few days we were not able to leave town because the drifts closed the underpasses. lol one of the colleges around here ran out of food beacuse they were planning on everyone to be gone on spring break but since the snow closed the roads (snow plows were called off because the wind just blew it all back, typical iowa) no one left. Now the supply trucks can't get in :P its funny :D
 
I'd want to get stuck with Jim Gaffigan and a ferret (so he could tell a funny joke about ferrets and we could eat it afterwards)
 
that is a good question.... i would think.... halonic........ hes gotta have something in his backpack that would save us
