I saw the National Geographic Channel's previews for the show and was interested, and this article from the Washington Post (by way of the Seattle Times) has shed more light on the translation. Here's the article.

For free? Doubtful. Something this "juicy" will cost you money, I assure you.

EDIT: I anticipate an eBook version will be available (for a small fee, of course) in a month or two.

They've got snippets of it, along with a whole bunch of commentary, on the National Geographic webpage. I didn't read a lot of it, but it looked interesting.
