Below is how our new EPGP works, please be familiar with it if you raid with Redeemed. It will also be posted on our sticky "Raiding with Redeemed" here: http://www.cgalliance.org/forums/showthread.php?t=33282

Loot Distribution and EPGP: More Details

EPGP System:
Redeemed's Officers have chosen to use a system called "EPGP" for keeping track of all boss kills and how we hand out loot. The system can be found at http://www.epgpweb.com/help/system. This is all tracked in-game which is available to view on your officer’s note. YOU CAN FIND YOU EPGP NUMBER IN GAME, ON THE ROSTER UNDER OFFICERS NOTES WHICH IS NOW VISABLE TO EVERYONE. (if there is anything written in officer notes other then your EPGP numbers, tell an officer so we can remove it).

EP Awards:

ICC10 - 35 per boss
ICC25 - 45 per boss
Guild First / One Shot - +10 to boss value
On-time - 10 @ time raid is formed
Standby - 10 per hour

Toons on standby need to understand that if they are going to leave the list early before the raid is over HAVE TO whisper whoever is in charge of handing out standby EP so that they can receive their EP. If they log off without contacting this person, their EP will be forfeit. As previously stated in other threads, you must be available either in-game or in vent and be ready for your invite, inside the instance, and buffing within 5 minutes or your standby EP is lost.

Anyone can be running EPGP, as the only people who can actually affect the in-game data need the power to change officer's notes. Keep in mind that people who have this power that decide to run the mod DO NOT input / modify officer's notes OR award EP/GP by accident. Any mistakes need to be reported immediately to an officer that is fluent with the mod.

EPGP Updating:
EPGP is updated every time something is inputted, this is helpful because raider will not need to wait after the raid to review their real points, they will have it right when it is inputted.

Earning EP:
EP is awarded for specific things in the raid. These things include, being on-time, killing bosses, etc. What is most important about EP is that it can determine whether you get loot or not. Everybody will have GP, but EP is what tells the system who has had a consistent attendance rating along with other requirements made by the RL’s.

Standby EP:
in order for you to receive your standby EP, you must:

a) Send "wl add" in a whisper to whoever is handling the wait list

b) be available for a call into the raid at anytime. You have a 5 MINUTE window to do so. Failure to respond in a timely manner will cause you to forfeit your standby EP.

c) If you are going to log off, whisper whoever is handling the waitlist and ask for your EP as it will be awarded to you at that time.

If you are on until the raid is over...everyone still on the wait list should receive their standby EP after the end of the raid.

IF you are in another guild raid that does not award EP. you will not receive standby EP as you should be getting gear from said raid. If/when that raid ends and you want to get back on the waitlist for standby...send another wl add to get back on and your timer will start from then.

Standby EP start at 10 up front for being on time and 10 EP every hour thereafter.

Current EP awards for boss kills is 35 EP with a 10% decay at the end of each raid week (Monday night).

Forfeiting EP
EP may be subtracted by the Raid Leader if someone repeatedly behaves disrespectfully to the guild. This can include going AFK unannounced, not following RL instructions on either procedural (e.g. release and run back) or performance (e.g. don't use AoE, or don't take down a boss too quickly, or don't steal aggro) related.

EP Decay
In order to award recent effort more than past effort, which in effect avoids PR hoarding for veterans and enables new coming and dedicated members of a guild to be awarded properly, EPGP supports a decay mechanism. Decay simply removes a chunk of EP and GP from the totals, effectively leaving PR unchanged. For example with decay of 10% applied each week, for each 7 days that pass your effort's rewards get diminished by 10%. The effort you put 10 weeks ago will only be worth 34.8% of what it did when you received it ( (1-0.1)10).

Raid Loot Policies
• If the raid leader has forgotten to set master looter ... PASS on all Blue or Purple items.
• Master looter set at blues and above... if you get a green off a mob, you keep it.
• No green upgrades. If a raid item drops that would be an upgrade to a green, you will generally be given the lowest priority for loot distribution. Prior to raiding, you should have spent the time working on your gear to upgrade everything to level 80 rares or epics. Talk to your class leader if you're having trouble doing this.
• Disenchanted purples go to the guild bank. If you need some Void Crystals contact an officer.
• BoE epics. All BoE epics will be handled as if it was dropped by a raid boss. If the item does not benefit any raid member the item goes to the Guild Bank and the officers will make an announcement to all Guild Members that the item is available. All epics will be EP cost for epics that are handed out.
• One epic and one tier piece per raid. Each raid member can receive one Epic Gear Item and one Epic Tier Piece per raid
• Priority to all loot is given based on primary spec > secondary spec > non-spec but usable. For example, a melee leather headpiece would go first to rogues or feral druids main specs, then to feral druid secondary specs, then to resto/balance druids
• Veteran status has no bearing on loot

Additional Loot Prioritization

There are certain classes that can wear/use multiple types of armor. (i.e. Paladins could use cloth, leather, mail, plate in holy spec). Because we are using the EPGP system, if a paladin player has more EP than a priest and wants a cloth piece they could take it and end up with a plate piece later on. This is unfair to the priest who can only wear cloth pieces. Ideally, you could say that if a plate piece drops later the cloth piece could be traded later. But if that plate piece doesn't drop, that cloth wearer is still stuck. Trading it later also makes more work for the raid leader that is taking care of the EP ... an unwanted distraction from the rest of the raid. All this being said the loot priority in plain language is this:

Cloth items: priority to priests, mages, and warlocks
Leather items: priority to druids and rogues
Mail items: priority to hunters and shamans
Spellpower items: priority to casters
Hit items: priority to dps casters
MP5 items: priority to healers
Attack power: priority to melee dps and hunters
Expertise: priority to melee dps
Defense and dodge: priority to tanks
Parry and block: priority to shield-using tanks (e.g. not druids)

In exceptional cases, a raid leader may factor additional "suitability to class/spec/role" considerations into gear distribution decisions at his or her discretion.

Loot Policy FAQs
I have a green item and I was passed up on loot due to that, why?
In most cases this tells the raid leader that you have not spent the time to work on your gear enough to upgrade to the point where you have gotten level 80 Rares or Epics. Most classes have crafted gear that is blue or even purple and all you have to do is farm the mats or there are plenty of 5 man instances that will give you upgrades and crafted items that are always good options, show the leaders that you are working to upgrade and not looking to take gear from other members that have put the time and effort to get the best gear they could.

The first boss we killed dropped an item I didn't really NEED but I took it for an offset so it wouldn't get DEed. Does the "One Epic per Raid" rule apply?
Yes and No. This is a tough one and depends on each circumstance. If a boss is downed and the item that drops no one needs, but you take for an offset so it is not DEed, then no it does not apply to the "One Epic per Raid" rule. However, some classes are required to carry different sets with them to raid, if you play one of those classes and the said item is used for that set then yes it counts. (If there is any doubt send a tell to the Master Looter asking them)

Summary
These are guidelines and subject to change. We, the officers, felt it important for the entire guild to see how we are trying to be fair with Raiding and distributing loot, and doing it in a Godly manner.
