I have a 3.0 Ghz Anthalon XP (Spelling may be off)
with 160 Gig Hard Drive (which is about 75 percent free and I can also add another 160 Gig HD expansion)
1024 RAM (Upgradable to 2 Gig)
DvD rom and CD-Rom
Right now I have a Radeon 9250, what would be the best quality graphics card that would run on here without too much effort. I do not have PCI-E unfortunately. Thanks

Probably a 7600, 6600 or a low end 8k series from nvidia. There is no 3.0Ghz Anthlon XP, the highest clock was 2.2 ghz in the series.

Its still spelled wrong. :D

Its, Athlon, I should know, I use one and own two.

Though, vibrokatana is right, 2.2Ghz is the highest for Athlon XP.

Anything higher must be a 64 or Dual Core. Or it could be a Opteron, it shows 3.2Ghz is max for them.

Wow, a X800GTO is better than a 7600...

X800GTO > 7600GS

And looking through newegg.com, there are NO AGP cards higher than 7600.

I </3 ATI, untill they clean up their horrible drivers nvidia is de facto for me. It is likely a p4 3.0 Ghz, he will probably have issues pushing a 7600 (7900 would be the top I would guess) in most games, well anything is better then a radeon 9250.

Well, I still have my 9550 256 AGP and rare card, IMO, X800XT PE 256 AGP. I have no use to it and i doubt I can sell them. If you were in my residential area, Logos, I'd be happily give it for free.

The X800XT PE ran good with Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source.

agreed on all points presented

I've seen an AGP card that is a 7900 based in a magazine.

Heh, of course...

Well, you can find almost anything on the web, looking through retail however, is another story. :(

The only real person that can answer, Logos, would be Hescominsoon.

your right HCS hasnt posted here, which is why i hadnt posted cuz i thought HCS already came here lol. the x800 is prolly one of your best bets, i use an x800 pci-e and its great for all gaming. honestly if u dont mind open box: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161033R i recommend HIS for everything, they pre-overclock their equipment and look uber seksi. or pay $10 more and wait till they have a new one in stock http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161033
