Kralgon turns 24 today

It's an odd thing, leading a gaming group for over a decade. You see a lot of people come and go. It's bittersweet, really.

I noticed a birthday cake icon and a notice that Kralgon's birthday is today. Most of today's active Tribe of Judah members probably don't remember Kralgon, but he was an avid StarCraft player in Tribe of Judah's early years and led our Age of Empires Chapter when he was 14.

He was then one of the youngest member (if not the youngest) to server on Tribe of Judah staff. I don't recall ever butting heads with Kralgon, either, which is remarkable, given his age at the time.

To think that he's now 24 is just surreal. It makes me feel old. And it makes it so clear that I've been doing this for a long, long time.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go outside and yell at kids until they get off my lawn.

I can't remember exactly, but I may have been 14 when I was leading the NWN Chapter...which turned out to be a bad idea. I'm 21 now...jeez now I feel old.
 
Wow. I swung by to see if any of the old-timers had gotten the SC2 beta (I didn't, btw, but I was curious), and I was pretty surprised to see this at the top of the forum. I still play Starcraft from time to time - maybe once a month or so - although I'm well past my prime at this point =) I no longer go on ICQ (man, that was a loooong time ago when it was still a popular IM service), but I'm occasionally on AIM/MSN (Kralgon/kralgon@yahoo.com respectively)!
