Interested in coming back to WoW

Hi all,

Here's my requisite first post so my account won't be deleted! =P

Anyways, so my roommate wanted to start playing WoW again, and that's been making me want to come back as well. So out of curiosity, I happened to Google for Christian WoW guilds and I came across a list that included Redeemed! That's really cool that there are guilds like you guys out there!

A little about myself, I started playing WoW the day it came out, but I'm definitely more of a casual gamer, and have been playing on and off these past few years, mostly getting my WoW "fix" through Scrolls-of-Resurrections lol =) I've definitely had a lot less time to play as I'm in seminary now and also serving as our church's youth ministry intern, but have some time off coming up so I'm definitely interested in checking out Redeemed. It looks like I'll have to start from scratch and reroll a new character on Stonemaul for that purpose, so I'm wondering if there's a good mix of guild members at different levels that I'd be able to level with or are you guys mostly pretty far along into the end game content?

Hi Jerry,

Awesome that you were able to find us! Redeemed is all over the board for members at 80 and for people leveling a toon. Plus you can always find an altaholic who likes to take advantage of the 10 character allowance. And there are always members who like to help out with anything. As far as end game content - honestly we haven't seen it too much over the years, but did manage a guild LK kill. Right now we're not raiding in order to get ready for Cataclysm.

If you're up for it, just find an officer when you log on and we'll get ya an invite! :)
 
Hey - glad you found us! I'm one of the guild officers and you can find me online on flamethrøwer, redletters, or likeminded. I have more, but these are my current interests. I personally level quite a bit of alts and there are always helpful people in the guild to help. I'll do whatever I can to make your leveling easier!

Haha, thanks for the enthusiastic and warm welcomes =) Man, now I really want to start playing again! Except I gotta preach Thursday night and Sunday morning and write a paper, so I probably shouldn't sign on back yet =P On the plus side, I'll have people to keep me accountable when I do haha =)

By the way, out of curiosity, any other people in full-time ministry in this guild? How do you balance life and ministry and WoW? I mean, the first two are hard enough as it is without WoW =P

I just moved a toon over to Redeemed just yesterday and am very excited to fellowship with them and you! I'm kinda an Alt-holic and will be making a Worgen Rogue come Cataclysm & would love to team up.

Glad to see I'm not the only new guy. Welcome!

Agreed. Find me in game, I can let you know how I attempt to manage it all. As long as you don't mind sleep deprivation, you'll be fine!! :D

Just ask me about the success of that endeavor I am a poster child for failed balance (and I don't even have a druid).

I crashed hard and right now just taking it easy - game time is minimal - but the hardest part is I miss the fellowship with my WoW homies because I hardly see them right now or talk to them.
