Here is an updated example spec for 3.1:

Some things different in 3.1 for healadins:

1. Glyph of Divinity - Amazing mana returns for using LoH on yourself. With the minor lay on hands glyph and the improved LoH it's basically an innervate every 11 minutes for 7900 mana.

2. Divinity talent - Tempting talent in the Prot tree for 5% effectiveness to heals. Tempting....


Overall it doesn't seem like any major changes which rocked the boat. :)
 
They changed the infusion of light talent. Wasn't that a rather large change?

Infusion of Light: Now increases the critical chance of your next Holy Light by 10/20% instead of reducing cast time. Moved to tier-10.

There is a good portion of the community QQ'ning about this change. I don't think it's a large change in the fact that we are swapping out basically haste for crit. With all the 7.5+ gear and Ulduar gear coming out haste should not be a problem.

I actually like the change because it ups the crit opportunity 10/20% which is huge gains for mana regen ( and big heals ) when holy light crits.

I've always liked crit over everything on my holy set. However, with the way downranking was taken out most of a HL crit will be wasted. The mana regen is nice but your overall throughput went down if most of your crit is overheal.
 
I did notice in this 3.1.1 they slipped in downranking on Holy Shock. You can cast level 1 at level 1 cost. Oops?

Overhealing isn't as concerning anymore in wotlk. More concerning is people dieing or running oom. If either of these things are happening then its time to coordinate some more.
 
One large reason why people might not like this change as much is because they want to do holy PvP. Those who use holy for arena won't be able to have .88 second holy light casts anymore.
