Hey everyone!

This is Flame/Redletters. I'm sure most have you have heard what happened to me by now - my roommate Cryo/Truevision said he told many of you what had happened.

For those who haven't heard, I was on my way to my future brother-in-law's house on Sunday, going about 55 mph (the speed limit) and was hit on the left side by a car coming off of a cross street. I was hit in the rear driver's side door, slid off the road and flipped four times! My fiance was with me, and although she's a little sore, she is completely fine.

I know God was watching out for us - there are so many things that could have gone a lot worse. The point of impact was just about two feet behind where I was sitting, and although the outsideof the car looks horrible - the inside where we were sitting looks pretty good. There was also a cop following us who saw the whole thing and was right by the car seconds after we stopped rolling.

We were taken to Akron City Hospital where Rachel (my fiance) was checked out and released. She just had some soreness on her right side and was able to go back to work on Monday.

I stayed Sunday and overnight until Monday afternoon with a concussion and a 'bruise on my brain.' I still don't remember the accident, anything from Sunday, the date of the accident, OR anything from Saturday, including being in Rachel's brother's wedding. I'm not sure if it will come back, but if that's all that I lose from this, then that's fine with me.

Things have been coming back to me slowly. The main thing is that I remember everyone and everything that I should, it just seems like everything was a long time ago.

I have a lot to do, like finding a new car, getting the police report, finding out the other driver's insurance, and getting money from them for a new car and to pay my hospital bills.

I know that God has been with me this whole time, and will work this situation out for me. I look at the pictures form my car and I know that He kept us safe.

They told me that on Sunday I kept asking the same questions over and over again, so my sister made a sign for me explaining everything.

I'm at my parent's house right now resting, and I'm going to go down to the police station today and get all the info I need. I'm not sure when I'l be able to be on again, but I'm glad you all are praying for me. I'll check these forums periodically and see you all when I can!

Always wear your seatbelt - it saved our lives!

I'm so glad things weren't worse. Thank you for taking the time to come in here and relieve our minds about the accident. May God grant you a speedy recovery and smooth sailing with getting the red tape settled. Will look forward to seeing you back in Wow when you get settled.

Seat belts ftw! Been there too, t-boned twice and seat belts saved me from serious injury (no, I was not at fault and didn't even see one of them coming) but I can't imagine what rolling over like that would of been like, *eek!*. I remember the one I DID see coming was a drunken driver who I saw hit someone else first then head my way and it was like watching a movie in slow motion with no stop button! I mean one minute I was sitting at a stop sign, the next minute I was 50 feet down a hill off the road, yikes! It was amazing that little car I was in didn't roll cause I slid sideways and my wheels turned under the car and he hit me on my front driver side hinge (it was a little VW bug convertable, the older kind). Thank God you guys are going to be ok! I pray you get all you memory back, well at least the good ones =P and I pray travel mercies upon you in all your future driving.

Thanks everyone - she's sitting right here with me now. We're still at my parent's house just getting everything sorted out. it looks like it might be awhile before everything is back to normal. I know that I need to make some changes in my personal life as well - this was kind of a wake up call for me. I'll be back on to see you all eventually, but I will definitely not be playing as much. I've let some thing at home slide for too long, and I need to be a little bit more responsible before I go playing games again. I'll check in sometime this week, and thanks for all the prayers! Between my family, Rachel's family, my church, Rachel's church, and all of you, we have tons of people praying for us! Thanks again, and I'll see you all soon. Please keep us in your prayers, especially those ones you always do before raids :P

In Christ,
Red Flame

These are the marks I made - If you look close, you can see where I skidded, flipped, skidded again, flipped again, etc, etc, off into the distance.

Yeah, but I think you squished a few angels. :D

Glad to hear that everyone came through relatively unscathed. God is faithful either way, but it sure is nice to be able to give thanks.
