Help for a newbie?

Hey all,

I am fresh and new to the server and was just wondering what's going on with the server currently? I am aware that the map is temporary until all the Adventure Updates are in place, but are there towns/supply chests/areas where people are set up in a community or is it pretty much every man for himself at this point?

Not to put words in the admin's mouths, but I believe I heard that this map will be in place until 1.9.

Scotty, if people are on, just give a shout out and someone is sure to help you gain what ever supplies you need if they have it to share. There is also another post down a little on the forums that will give you information for some free food and supplies.

Otherwise, if a spot is unclaimed, you are free to claim it. Try to be respectful of other's property, that is all. Don't build right up against someone elses claim either, give a little space.
