Global Agenda Agency?

Anyone want to put together an informal Global Agenda agency (guild) in-game? It could be an informal guild, like the one we've set up for DDO.

Of course, if someone's interested in leading an official chapter, that would work, too.

Either way, I'd like to group with other ToJ members in-game some time.

i would (if you guys let me) love to be apart. Just gotta see if there is one more person wanting to buy a 4 pack. And that would have to be today and tomorrow lol.

Have we made any progress for a guild? Anyone step up to lead?
Not yet.

I'm unemployed, so I don't intend to pay a monthly fee for this or any other game. That means I won't be able to play Conquest after the free trial ends on March 3.

I also may not be able to close the level gap quickly enough to even participate in Conquest while it's free. :(

But if someone else is willing to take it on, contact me by PM and we'll talk.

Hey tek, according to massively's first impression, paying the sub isn't worth it yet.

I can't say I'm surprised. The theory behind Conquest sounds fantastic, but it's reasonable to assume that it will take a few months to approach any kind of equilibrium.

Even if Massively gave Conquest a glowing review, though, it would be irrelevant: No employment means no monthly subscriptions means no pay-to-play MMOs until I get a job.

Until then, I'm waiting for the start of Allods Online open beta, after which characters will not be wiped. After I'm employed, I plan to re-activate my WoW account 5-10 days before the release of Cataclysm to participate in any pre-release world event.

Even a few days after Global Agenda's release, it's clear that my slow leveling and more casual pace and the game's level treadmill (which, to be fair, ceases to be a concern at level 30) is going to keep me out of Conquest even during the free 1-month trial of the expanded game.

I don't think Global Agenda is a game you could play casually and really enjoy, but I could be mistaken. I enjoy the game, but there are better pure FPS games (i.e. Team Fortress 2) and better pure MMO experiences.

I'm definitely still up for joining an agency and grouping with other Tribe of Judah members. Our DDO guild proved that we can have an informal but casually active guild without an established chapter.

Is there a makeshift agency set up yet?

I'm wondering the same thing, does anyone know of a Christian Agency?

I can't say I can devote hardcore hours but it would be nice to join up with other Christians, do some conquest and pvp.

I don't think tek has even gotten past lvl 10 yet. IMO anything under lvl15 is just learning. Until around the early 20's you don't even fill out a branch of the skill tree.

I managed to get to lvl30 in about 24 hours of gametime. A lot of that was spent waiting around for our agency's hexes to be attacked, watching tv with the game open, etc. Even if you played for one hour a day you would have all of your skill points and devices unlocked in under a month.

I haven't heard of one yet.

I was thinking of throwing one together, provided it doesn't require a monthly subscription (which wouldn't be relevant until March 3) or in-game currency. I'd be ready to hand it off to any ToJ members in good standing willing to take it over.

Nope. Still level 7 on both of my characters.

The gameplay has been interesting, but it hasn't really drawn me in yet. It doesn't help that I spend just as much time loading in and out of PvE missions as I spend playing the missions. This may be one of the games I shelf until I build a desktop computer.

I don't know if GA could hold my interest for one hour per day for a month, though. Maybe if I was able to play casually and still access the content for which the game was built (i.e. Conquest), but the PvE and PvP missions feel like demos designed to sell the monthly subscription.

Again, GA seems like an excellent game for people with gaming rigs more powerful than mine (which, these days, seems like everyone else) and willing to invest the time to learn and level--or at least make it their primary online game. The level treadmill still rears its ugly head, but, based on what I've read, ends at level 30.

Like I said in a previous post, I'm interested in playing with other ToJ members, but I'm not motivated to "pay my dues" or pay a subscription fee to get at the content that represents the game's most interesting features (again, Conquest).

Okay, thanks.
Some pray for this is overdue!
Father God, I pray you would lead and guide someone who has the time, gifting and will to start & lead a Christian agency in Global Agenda. Thank you that we can come to for all things big and small, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
