I'd *really* like to make you a riding crop and will contribute the leather if you contribute the other mats. Let me know if you're interested...my LW skill is languishing in the low 350s... Anyhow, details below.
First, what is a riding crop?
It's a lvl 69 trinket that gives a 10% speed boost to a mount (flying or non-flying). It does NOT stack with carrot, spurs, or the glove enchant, instead it's meant to
a) Be slightly better (1.5% .. e.g. 10% vs. 8.5% boost) than that 3-combo
b) While doing it for one bag slots rather than 3
Second, what's it take to make it? (note prices below may be inflated because they're Allakhazam averages rather than Stonemaul-specific).
A 350-skill leatherworker with the pattern, plus:
4 x Heavy Knothide Leather (~20g+)
6 x Arcane Dust (~12g+)
1 x Small Prismatic Shard (~5g+)
1 x Primal Might (~100g+)
So the mats can easily run ~137g ... and the average AH price quoted on Allakhazam is 150g for a crafted crop.
Third, what's the "deal"?
If you provide the other mats, I'll throw in the Leather and make it for you. There is something in it for me: there are very few LW recipes in the 350-360 skill range that don't require revered faction rep. So I want to move my LW past the 351 level where it's stuck right now, and at 350 skill, the riding crop is ideal. If I can save you some cash in the meantime, so much the better.
Oh Yeah, One More Thing...
Alchemists can create a Primal Might by transmuting the combination of:
1x Primal Earth (~8g)
1x Primal Fire (~32g)
1x Primal Air (~35g)
1x Primal Water (~18g)
1x Primal Mana (~25g)
It's a 24-hour cooldown but perhaps if you can find some very very nice Alchemist (like Reco, Goblit, and maybe Nevi or Quantam) they can help with that and make it slightly cheaper. If you add together the Allakhazam average AH prices above, it they add to 118g so looking for a deal on a Primal Might may be the best way to go unless you have some Primals already in your inventory and just need to few more to get all five to transmute...
