Getting dreaded error reports

Howdy,

everytime i try to go up into the game, i'm getting error reports when the map downloads and i should be going to select teams.  Is anyone else having similar problems?  I just deleted some misc. stuff unrelated to CS, but I also just d/l'ed a mandatory patch (on the uploader steam client thin) so i don't know what's wrong.

Help?

per Exodus ~ there is a bug with a now recalled update of Steam so if you updated tonite youre in trouble =\

I can vouch for that, those idiots...it told me that "hl.exe has generated errors" after I noticed an update. I ended up uninstalling the stupid application all over again. Good thing I back up all the maps and CFG's I use so it was pretty painless...
