nope Planetside is alive and well... Sony has a current 30 day welcome back deal too...
Just played a day worth of planetside. its almost as fun as it was. Slightly less people, but if you get with some others its a blast.
Held a control point pinned down for almost an hour. My epic rezs keep us there, and our door management and hiding skills kept us for being overwelmed.
