For Those Who Will Vote Nov 4th Have you Prayed?

I am not going to tell anyone how to vote or who to vote for. Nor am I looking for a thread filled with I'm voting for Candidate X because of the following reasons. I am asking you to pray for guidance and wisdom from God as you evaluate your potential elected representatives and the various ballot initiatives that you'll need to make decisions on. Inform your conscience on the issues and the stance the candidates have on them. I found this video personally inspiring for me to pray and think deeper on the choices I'll make this election. Yes it is part of a drive to encourage Catholics to have a well formed conscience when they vote, but applies to all Christians in my humble opinion.

Great post. I am not Catholic, but respect them deeply. I trust each of us will be in prayer not only about how we will vote, but for the election. This is a very important time in history and I am certain that this election will hlep determine the future for those of us who vote in this election. I have always considered Presidential elections to be a grave matter, but never has one seemed so serious. True, the last two were trying affairs, but I feel the resolve of Christians to stand for their values is again being tested. Surely these must be the last days. Maranatha.

I also appeal to those of us who are not American citizens to be is prayer for us as we elect the leader of a superpower as well as the person who is looked to for leadership in the world.
