Hey,
I'm looking for 3 people to fill holes in a fantasy hockey league on yahoo. It's totally free and most of us in this league are pretty big amateurs at it. I have the most experience of any because I played last year too. As such, we're not focused much on the competition side but more of the fun and learning side.
As I said, it's free and you don't need a huge amount of hockey knowledge (though it is helpful) as long as you're willing to look at stats to define players' abilities. The one thing I do ask above all is that you be an active manager throughout the year. All I mean by this is respond to trade offers and do whatever you can to make your team better regardless of where they sit in the standings. There's nothing that kills a league quite like a dead team that just sits there stagnant.
