Epic ZvP

oh dude I almost watched this earlier. I had it loaded up but then I decided to game lol

I'm watching it now :D

Ok that was rad! I got total goosebumps when the announcer was like
"and thats the game!!!!! ummm wut is going on?"

Epic.

A bystander observation.

Even if the Protoss did see the extractor going down at the end before hand but there is not much he could of done. The Zerg could have just kept canceling and rebuilding it until he committed himself to destroying the other buildings. Looks kind of annoying that it appears a Zerg can cancel and restart his buildings infinitely without any penalty (correct?). I mean there is also that early extractor harass I've seen elsewhere too.

Wow Oh Wow Oh Wow... That game was just utterly amazing. Some really smart thinking at the end. Just an epic game.

Well...

If you cancel something as a Zerg Im pretty sure it kills the drone.

it doesn't kill the drone, but you do lose minerals (not all of them) like 6.25 for an extractor that cost 25 (you get 18.75 back).

which if he did that he wouldn't have had enough to build again.

Yeah I've seen a different video where the Zerg player sends his scouting drone in to build a extractor on his enemy's gas. Every time it would get low on hp he would cancel it and immediately rebuild it. He did it like 4 or 5 times and his opponent had to wait until he got a couple marines to get rid of it. Very annoying looking tactic but now I know it was costing him a little minerals.

Wow. Just...wow.

I guess that's as close as you ever get to a Double K.O. in SC2.

dude that game was amazing lol

I think the protoss still had a chance though. that drone was taking forever to kill the buildings, and the zealot I think could have killed the extractor pretty easy
