Day of Defeat: Source is on sale for $2.49 USD today (Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009) on Steam.

If you pick up the game today or if you already had it, please post below so other Tribe of Judah members who play DoD: S know you play.

I decided to pick up the game at this price, not so much because I like Day of Defeat, but so I can play with other Tribe of Judah members. If I remember correctly, the game is also popular among members of City of Refuge.

No.... We don't play source at CoR. We play the classic day of defeat. Its also on sale for 3.49. I think we once had a source server, but it wasn't active because the whole game changed when they made source. Day of defeat classic and day of defeat source are two totally different games.

Aye, they are different. I can actually kill players on the opposing team in DoD: Source.

Ah... I see. Most of that's because DoD doesn't get many new players. All of the players (except me) are pretty much veterans.

Which is why I don't like to play older FPS games online. I like Quake III, but I didn't even try to play it online because I knew I'd get my rear handed to me by the Quake elite. When Quake Live was released, I was so excited that I could play Q3 again and actually stand a chance of scoring a kill or two.

I see some ToJ'ers own DoD:Source, but don't play it much.

Would be fun if there was a DoD:S game.
