Has anybody actually played some of these? i've tried them and I think that they really cheapen the ideals of our religion, i mean i've seen games where you are supposed to "convert the sinners" and that kind of thing. it's just really stupid in my opinion.

hey there and welcome to the forums. We've reviewed a few Christian games. if you like Quake style check out Eternal War. Myst style there's Derek. Card style Victory at Hebron. Christian game development is still in it's infancy, hopefully that will change very soon.

I know what you mean. I haven't played Christian games until just very recently. I recently played Derek which, as CCGR wrote, is a Myst-like adventure game. It was quite well done, but is a bit short. But I am already wanting to play it again.

Victory at Hebron has given me (and others) several late nights. There is a demo on the developer's site.

Plus, I was at the Christian Game Developer's Conference in July and there is a new push to really make some compelling games. Christian game dev's realize they need to be up to the same qualities as secular games and I think we are beginning to see that take shape.
