So I'm curious what people plan to do with their characters as far as gaining ranks. With the armoery system it pays to rank multiple classes, but for DoW/M we have limited action points based on our rank. So, if you level a sub class too quickly or far, you may not be able to use those abilities for some time. Also, based on your role you may want a different combination of abilities or classes to fill in holes. So, what are you all planning?

My concept is to make a melee powerhouse who can tank, dish out damage, and solo stong monsters. I plan to level Marauder as my main, followed by Pugilist for DPS abilities, and Conjurer for solo friendly buffs. Using a combination of abilities I'll have 3 action bar lay outs, 1) solo, 2) tank, and 3) DPS.

Final goal is 50 MRD/46 PGL/20 CON/4 LCR. Here's an example of synergies at the mid-point of 30 MRD/26 PGL/20 CON/4 LCR with 35 action points.

Solo Action Bar
Heavy Swing, Broad Swing, Skull Sunder II, Iron Tempest, Aura Pulse, Fracture, Bloodbath, Ferocity, Discerning Eye, Cure II, Second Wind, Shock Spikes, Protect, Shell
Reasoning: Have a single target and AE basic attack. 4 WS: 1 cone slashing AoE toggelable based of steadfast stance, 1 close range blunt AoE strong against flying, 1 wind based AoE, 1 reactive WS based off a parry. Bloodbath and Ferocity for comboing with a WS for a self heal. Attack power self buff, damage shield + stun self buff, instant heal, downtime heal, physical and magical resistance buffs.

Heavy Swing, Broad Swing, Skull Sunder II, Fracture, Jarring Strike, Bloodbath, Taunt, Warmonger, Disorient, Defender, Foresight, Discerning Eye, Cure II, Enduring March
Reasonging: Have a single target and AE basic attack. 3 WS: 1 cone slashing (not AoE toggelable due to use of Enduring March; alternative is Brutal Swing for blunt damage), 1 reactive based off a parry, 1 reactive based off evasion with a taunt effect. Bloodbath for a self heal off WS. Taunt and Warmonger for aggro control. Disorient for an accuracy debuff + eminity increase, defence buff + eminity generation increase, parry buff, attack power buff, emergency heal, and a bind cure + effect to maintain steadfast stance while moving.

Heavy Swing, Broad Swing, Trunksplitter II, Skull Sunder II, Iron Tempest, Aura Pulse, Bloodbath, Ferocity, Blindside, Discerning Eye, Merderous Intent, Enduring March, Cure II, Radience
Reasoning: 4 WS: single target, AoE cone, AoE wind, AoE blunt. Bloodbath and Ferocity combo. Blindside for rear possitional attack. 2 attack power buffs. Bind cure. Emergency Heal. MP restore for Iron Tempest use.
