The invoice for the Christian Gamers Alliance dedicated server, which hosts these forums as well as the CGA and The Forgiven TeamSpeak Servers, is due August 19.

We're not funded by any churches or organizations. We don't sell user data like e-mail addresses. The Christian Gamers Alliance is funded 100% by its community members.

Our next dedicated server hosting yearly invoice, in the amount of $395.00 USD, is due August 19.

If you managed to survive the Steam sales with a few dollars of expendable income left in your wallet (I admit this call for donations could have come at a better time), please consider donating toward the expense. Your donations keep our community online.

We currently have approximately $75 in our Paypal account. We have a few community members who are faithful to donate a set amount each month, so that amount will increase in the next month, but we'll still need around $300 USD to cover the bill.

Of course, any amount above and beyond the $395.00 dedicated server hosting expense will go toward domain renewal and other expenses.

Thanks Tek7 for the reminder. The Forgiven is part of a greater community and we need to do our part in carrying that responsibility. I just sent some coin. Thank-you Tek for CGA's support of The Forgiven. I encourage those of you in our guild who can assist in any amount, to please do so as you are able.

Receiving $125 in donations within 24 hours after issuing the call for donations does this President's heart good. :)

A quick update also posted to the original thread in CGA General Discussion:

Our Paypal currently stands at $194.94 USD, which leaves $200.06 USD to raise.

In related news, our hosting provider has generously offered to upgrade our server for free when we pay our invoice for the next year of hosting. The sooner we meet our goal, the sooner work on the upgrades can start!
 
UPDATE: We have reached our fundraising goal and paid the invoice for another year of dedicated server hosting! Many thanks to everyone who donated, past and present! Any additional donations will go toward future expenses.
