So, my wife (Savedbygrace/Jeresther) and I were talking and she would like to change her spec to something more viable than Prot. Prot is ok for group play, but it doesn't allow her to kill quickly solo. Besides, she has my shamy (Mattiah) to heal and take aggro from her quite regularly.

Savedbygrace is lvl 36 right now. Can anyone give her some pointers in direction of a build to respec to?

Pre 40, spec retribution and get a nice two hander. Post 40, go back to Prot and start stocking up on mitigation and spell damage. Solo and 5 mans protection pallies eat DPS for breakfest and make quest grinding a breeze. With a protection pally and a shamy, AOE grinding mobs should be a riot.

My 3rd pally is level 36 and I am doing the retribution route to level him incase you want talent point ideas: Duston
 
WAZZUP Shadowman! I'd have to agree with the Sandman Retribution is the way to go... of course I've never been anything but Ret LOL.
 
I was retribution all the way to lvl 60 and did fine. All the instances up through maybe sunken temple are easy enough to tank as a ret pally and nobody runs lvl 60 instances anymore anyway so you really don't need to be a dedicated tank or healer until you hit outland. It is MUCH, MUCH easier to kill stuff as ret spec.
 
I like Ret Pally spec so much, I sometimes wish that Tarl was still specced that way. Although I really like Holy too. But for leveling, Ret is the only way to go.

Also, good to hear from Proud!!! How are you doing buddy? I pray you're keeping your head low and God's word close to your heart over there in the desert. Can't wait till you get back so we can Raid together :)
