Hey all,
I was talking with my parents this weekend about the calendar and we all got pretty confuzzled. And considering I can't do research on the web to save my life, I was wondering if you guys could explain how today's modern calendar was put together.
This question came about because we always thought B.C. meant "Before Christ," but Christ was born around 5 B.C (we know this because Herod died in 4 B.C.) So, why did the change from B.C. to A.D. happen? Who did it?
Looking forward to an interesting discussion!
