Hey Everyone ! I am new to CGAlliance and I think you all have a really great thing going on here. This is definitely a blessing to see everybody pull together and is a great ministry within itself. I would like to invite you to come check us out at the Blood Bought Brigade. We are a brand new gamer's guild of friends and God has blessed our efforts already. Does the Blood Bought Brigade allow non-Christians to join? You are, of course, welcome to advertise the clan/community either way (as promoting Christian gaming groups is one of the primary purposes of the Alliance).

We basically play what you see on the website, but we do have a Steam Group Blood Bought Brigade as well. We are pretty flexible in looking at new games to play. We use Steam fairly often. We just started the website not too long ago and are pretty much new to website building. But we are having fun with it. We hope it will grow into something big. Keep me posted on game ideas and I will talk to my associate and see what we might expand into. We both left a secular clan and they treated us poorly. If we played too well they wanted to restrict what weapons we could use. If we didn't play good enough, they always had something sarcastic to say. It got old quick so we broke away and started up our own thing about a month ago and we have had a blast.
Even if we don't build up a big following, we don't care, because we don't have any mandates. It's great, total freedom. Nevertheless we hope we meet a lot of people and find regular decent people to game with. I appreciate your reply Keero and hope to do some gaming with you as well. Go to know you !

We allow non-Christians to game with as long as they follow the conduct codes listed under our Code of Conduct & Protocals page.

If you get a user name and password registered on our site, you will see an acknowledgement member response. Basically the response is one generated automatically by clansite manager who allows us to host our site. This does not mean that you are a member of the Blood Bought Brigade, it means that you are a member of our registered username population at The Blood Bought Brigade and will be able to use limited acess to some of the features of our site.. These priveleges can be revoked at any time by the administration.

Everyone gets a fair chance here. However NO ONE will be allowed to wear the BBB Tag prefix unless they have come to a saving knowledge of Christ and are a professed and proven Christian in their actions and their testimony in due time when approved by the Administration of Blood Bought Brigade. Blood Bought Brigade stands for the ones who have had their sins washed away by the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ by faith in Him. Furthermore, Blood Bought Brigade is not as of yet officially a clan, so their are no memberships, just friendships so far as yet. In the future we will probably take on the nature of a clan environment and take on members of whom will be Christians only of course. We allow non-Christians to play hoping prospectively to win them to Christ but we are not arm twisters on the other hand. I appreciate your question, because it is an important one. When things get more established we will be running password only servers for Christians only and possibly keeping a general public server with the proper conduct rules enforced as to keep our hand reached out to win the lost. I guess to wrap it up, there will be no non-Christian members here.

Toj has a couple scant players that have a Call of Duty World at War server ip 208.167.234.130 and they try to get together and play a little at 11:30am est Saturday. If you are interested in hitting them up for a game then they could use the targe... I mean players ^^. I am sure they would be interested in another clean server to play in too if you wanted to mention yours exists to them.

We appreciate the invite, we also would appreciate the free targe.....whoops, competition as well. LOL Might give it a shot. Saturday is kind of busy for me during the day on the norm, but not always. My admin associate lives in Montana, so when it is 11:30 am here, it is 9:30 am there. Nevertheless, He might be interested if I can get him off the server by 2:00 am Friday Night. LOL. We use to play Team Fortress a while ago when we were with our old clan. Maybe we can re-download it from Steam.

I forgot to mention the Toj Cod clan alternates between WaW and Modern Warfare on Saturdays. They are much smaller than the TF2 chapter so you definitely want to give a shout to Captain Tea or Blackbeard on their forums or you may miss them altogether.

The TF2 chapter has it's game nights on Thursdays at 8:00 central and there is more info in this thread http://www.cgalliance.org/forums/showthread.php?t=24626 along with some other Christian clans servers at the bottom that may interest you (you don't really need our map packs right now as we've tested most of the maps and don't use them, I need to update it soon).

Ok Mighty Gerbil, Thanks for the info. My BBB admin associate and friend, LoneCowboy has registered in with CGA as well and I told him about the servers. I'll pass it on to him too because he sounded interested.

Below is an addendum and/or change that we have added into our opening statement on the front page of our website.

"There is no registration necessary as far as the general public is involved. We do expect all who participate to exercise adherence to our values of conduct which are listed under the title of "CODE OF CONDUCT / PROTOCOLS." Everyone gets a fair chance here. However NO ONE will be allowed to wear the (Blood Bought Brigade)BBB Tag prefix unless they have come to a saving knowledge of Christ and are a professed and proven Christian in their actions and their testimony in due time when approved by the Administration of Blood Bought Brigade. This was done to avoid any confusion with the general public and site registration issues. We have eliminated website registration all together.

Unfortunately, the template that we use from Clansite Manager our host, had an automatic login window that issued auto e-mails to registrars giving them the impression they were members. Fortunately for us, there were no registrations as of yet and we removed the login window. Hopefully that should resolve the issue with the general public. Like I said, we are new to webpage creation and we are ever learning. LOL

So does that mean anyone that follows the rules can play on your servers, but only Christians can join the Blood Brought Brigade clan/gaming group?

If so, Tribe of Judah operates the same way. Anyone is welcome to post on our forums and play on our servers, but only Christians can join Tribe of Judah as members.

I ask because the Christian Gamers Alliance is seeking new Christian gaming groups to join the Alliance, but only those that allow only Christians as members.
