Beginner Guides?

I can't seem to located good up to date guides.

Are there any good sites my in depth google search might not have covered?
 
Lesson #1 of LoL: DO NOT play with strangers until you have at least a basic understanding of the game's fundamentals. LoL has one of the most toxic communities of any game in history.

I recommend playing with ToJ LoL chapter members as they are usually very helpful and friendly teachers.

Once you have a general feel for the game, then you can play in solo queues if you're brave enough.

I only play LoL socially, but I am (more or less) glad I learned to play because the game is immensely popular and free-to-play, which means I can play with anyone in ToJ willing to install the game.

EDIT: Also, be sure to post your summoner name in this thread after you create an account.
