Missle boats are fun, a missle kestrel can take out just about any cruiser at range

Yes I had a Tristan and with only basic missile/gunnery/mechanic skills I am a sitting duck when 3 frigates and 1 destroyers come flying. I hesitated when I first thought: "I got to get out of here" and soon I was in my capsule.

destroyers are nice, get in close with antimatter and cruisers cry. otherwise hitting at 35km against frigates is evil they are too slow to take on cruisers reguarly tho

To carry this......

When traveling through 0.0, and you see a couple or reds in local upon entering a system...

1.warp to a planet at 100km
2.warp back to the gate you just came through
3.head back through the gate and either find an alternate route, or wait 'til the recon channel says it's clear.


the reason:
The reds are most likely sitting off another gate cloaked. they are waiting for you to warp to that gate and jump so they can tell all their buddies on the other side to be ready to jump you.




it's only after losing a 150 mil battleship...the obvious sets in
