ArenaNet Temporarily bans players exploiting...

Gamers will be looking for every advantage while playing Guild Wars 2. The Karma Weapons Exploit bug allowed weapons to be purchased cheap and has been exploited by around 3,000 players, much to the annoyance of ArenaNet. The usual procedure would be a permanent ban from the game but ArenaNet has taken a softer approach with first time offenders who discovered the bug.

Instead of a complete ban, they have given players a 72 hour ban, as long as they appeal through the game’s support system. This is a one off situation so players have now been warned.

I did not know this existed, hopefully they can continue to squashing exploits and the players that abuse them. Although, I was doing a heart and I had to gather resources and I noticed the resource didn't go away. So I kept clicking it until completion. =/ Now, this is not exactly what they are talking about and my account is fine but they have to continue squashing bugs. I guess I should go back there and send them a ticket in game?

EDIT: Oh, and looking @ Reddit the exploit was that Karma items were going extremely cheap. 21 Karma for something that should have been 21,000 Karma. Ouch! Apparently there are even newer bugs or exploits popping up after browsing Reddit today.
