Apparently I'm a hacker.  I was just kicked from the server automaticly for "cheating" I was first on my team for a while b/c of some lucky rounds with the tmp/mac while playing iceworld just then... But I don't cheat.  Does ne1 have any insight on why this happened?  And also i just thought the poll would be fun

Oh and also I can see through walls but dont have any hacks. No really i can and I don't I'm being serious. But only when they are like right next to the wall. For instance today on cbble I saw frost through the wall and did 66 damage to him in three hits with the scout.
 
It depends on what is on the server to look for cheaters.

Scripts are only as good as the lonely programmers who write them.

that happens to me too w/ doors and as far as i know its not uncommon, ill blame it game glitch and walk away w/o asking too many quesitons

My message to you moody is.. Im sorry that you got kicked. I know will all have a few lucky rounds and ppl think we are hacking. Same for Frost he starts pwning ppl and the get mad and call him a hacker. The whole looking through the wall thing I think you should take care of so you don't take an unfair advantage over people. Anyhow bummer you got kicked hope to see you around soon. Micah.
 
Well, did an admin kick you or did it announce that you were caught cheating?

As far as seeing thru walls - that's not normal. You're not supposed to. I notice sometimes my hands (in-game) will go transparent for a second, but I can't see thru walls and doors. I would update your drivers for you video card, and possibly upgrade to DirectX 9a.

I don't think you're a hacker on purpose!

Meh i just looked at all the demos kicking around of hackers we have in admin forums... I truly cant tell they are hacking...

Such a responsibility on us admins....

Where were you kicked from cos i havent seen anyone autokicked from toj in a long while
 
its really hard to catch hackers if you dont know (1) what youre looking for and (2) youre not using any 'tools' to help
 
Not that I can always see through walls.  It only happens sometimes esp on certain maps ie scoutmap and cbble.  Oh and also I have an Nvidia TNT2 Model 64 I think... And also out of curiousity who else thinks I'm more 1337 than Frost?
 
Oh no it happened again... I was disconnected for cheating... I was playing shottie wars just a minute ago and...
 
Maybe you should un-install the game, delete all folders related, and re-install it again?

That may get rid of some stuff that is causing it.
 
If you have any replaced system files so you can run some weird drivers or something, mainly the one people replace that enables wallhacking, exact file name escapes me at the moment, you need to put the original back in. I dont see how your getting kicked unless you have matching files on your hard drive that these programs scan for. Some of them check for .dll files that are in your cs directory that are foreign files to cs and then kick you if it finds any. I installed an anti cheat program once and ended up getting banned from a server because it scanned it. If you have any .dll files sitting in there that arnt required by the game get rid of them. If its not that or a file in your system directory then I have no idea whats going on.
 
Woohoo....I have GeForce2 as well. But I don't have any wallhaxs. Its nice to know that I can get some if I want to though. That may be the only way I can be greater than Frost.

no, he was just implying that your video card was t3h sux0r and it didnt render wall correctly.

Elite - there are video card bugs every so often. remember that time on Assault that I didn't have that big box there, and when I tried to jump down there, I just went straight to the ground? no? well, it happened.

of course, thats my GF4 MX (GeForce4 MX Series = Geforce2 Ti Series, basically. a *little* better, maybe) being turdy. =/

also, I can see through things, like ramps. you know how you can walk toward the place where a thin ramp and the ground meet, when you're under it, and then your "head" is "above" the "level" of the "ramp", and you can see some stuff that way. it's weird.
