Anyone for Thunderhead Keep this Weekend?

I've got 2 chars (ele/mes and tank) stuck at Thunderhead keep. Is anyone up for taking a shot at it? I was thinking about trying to do it Friday night but may be able to try on Saturday if necessary. You'd need to be lvl 20 with Infused armor or it's not doable. We also could use a really good protection monk to focus on keeping the king alive at the end. I'd like to get a group together of members who are using TeamSpeak so we can communicate well. It gets pretty hectic there at the end and we won't have time for typing. It's nice to have someone on the East and someone else on the West ballista (sp?) calling out which side needs shoring up and you just can't do that very well if you are typing...

We have a backup TS server thanks to Astro so don't worry if the normal TS server is down.

My Ranger needs it also. I'm up for it Friday night. I'll be on around 10PM Central. I'm a good ballista user as well. The strategy that I've found works best is for all to stay at the top of the steps by the king. That way the monks can heal without running, we have a height advantage, and we're not spread out. Also, I can constantly set traps on the steps and poison them from above.

Good deal. I can do 10 central.

Hopefully we can fill out a group with SoE members. Hench don't really do well at the end of the mission and PUG are usually worse than hench. :) It's like playing roulette.

I agree. After trying this mission many times, the best strategy (in my opinion) is one person on each side manning the catapults, and the rest camping the King.

Gwendolyn is on the Iron Mines mission (1 behind) . If I can infuse/finish that by friday, She will join you guys for Thunderhead.

Indy is on ice caves (2 behind). If you want to do this mission twice this weekend, he can go the 2nd trip.

I've tried several different strategies for this mission. I've probably run it 15-20 times and only had 1 successful attempt. :( I think 2 on catapults with traps on the stairs and the rest camping on the king works as well as any other strategy I've tried. From my experience, you really need a good protection/healing monk to keep the king alive though.
 
I wish I could join you. I still need to do complete Iron Mines as well. But I have been infused and unlocked Thunderhead Keep.

Friday is my wife's birthday, so I think I will be taking the night off for her sake.

If you don't make it on Friday, I'd be happy to join a group on Saturday.
 
I have a Blood Necro that needs that mission. 10pm Friday night sounds good to me. Hopefully I will still have electricity. I am 150 miles inland from Hurricane Rita and the projected track goes directly over my house.

Speaking of Rita, one of our guildmates, Miss Evangelica, is in Houston attempting to ride out the storm. I am sure that he/she would appreciate our prayers for his/her safety.

I may be without electricity for hours, days ,or even weeks. If I don't show up online that will be the reason why.
 
Halonic, I live in FL. Last year, I had 4 different hurricanes that at one point had lines running directly over my house.

Fortunately, one turned south, one turned west, and two crossed the state before they got to me, so they were minimal hurricanes/tropical storms by the time they got to me. I also live about 20 feet above sea level (which is like a mountain in Florida), so everything was cool.

Anyhow, I feel ya bro. May God dissipate the storm before it hits land. If He doesn't, may He keep you and your family safe.
 
I have my main stuck there... and Talori hasn't done much since being stuck there. Not sure if I will be on that late or not, I usually zone out around 10 pm central as that is my weekday bedtime so I can get to work in the morning. But I may be able to stay up on the weekend if I eat enough chocolate! *SUGAR! SUGAR! SUGAR!..... (and no I can't do coffee or caffinated pop or I get migraines!)
 
Can everyone get on a little earlier so Talori doesn't have to get all suggared up? I can get on as early as 9:00 but 10:00 also works for me if necessary. Is everyone able to get on TS? Astro is letting us use his TS server so we don't have to worry if the main server is down.

Talori: I have migraines too so I know what you are talking about with the caffeine. It's odd because caffeine can take you into a migraine but when you already have a migraine the right amount of caffeine can also bring you back out of one. Just one more way God is showing His Majesty (and maybe His sense of humor as well). The more I learn about the way we are made, the more I have to just stand in awe.

Make sure and try to connect to my server to make sure I didn't give you bogus info. The ToJ server was working last night so we shouldn't have a problem.
 
I'm still waiting for ToJ to make my membership official. I sent in all of the stuff yesterday but I'm in the Guild online so I don't have access to the ToJ TS server yet. Hopefully they'll get my info back soon and I can start the process to get on ToJ TS. :)
 
Absolution, I can speak for Astrod00d in that when we have gathered all the members who want to do Thunderhead at 10pm tonight, if any cannot access the ToJ TS.....then we will get on Astrod00d's TS. Somehow we will get all the party members who desire to do the mission on TS. Rest assured.
 
I downloaded and installed TS and connected to both ToJ TS and the backup from Astro so I think we're good. I'll login at 10 Central tonight and I'll see you all then!

Did you guys & gals get this mission taken care of Friday? I'm sorry that I had to bail on you like that. I have a chronic pain problem that is pretty severe that sometimes gets the best of me and I just can't concentrate well enough to play. I've had this for somewhere around 17 years now and God is using it in my life in amazing ways but it can be a real nuisance some times. :)

I hope I didn't mess up your group and you were able to pull it off without me. I take some pretty heavy duty mediation for the pain (morphine) 24/7 and it's usually not a problem but when the pain spikes, I'm not worth much. Thanks for understanding!

No we didn't get it done. Halonic and I got on there and asked around but I don't think Thunderhead was in the cards that night. Talori didn't eat enough chocolate. I think I heard her snoring on TS at one point. j/k :D

I wouldn't mind getting a group together for it tomorrow night. I'll be on there from probably 7PM Central until late. Hopefully Halonic will be back in action by then. I think his power is still out from Rita.
 
I have Gwendolyn parked there waiting to do it with you guys. So if I am on I will join ya, but feel free to go on without me as well. I can catch it with the next attempt.
