Tell us who your favorite music artist is and give a reason why if you want...

For me it would be Ted Nugent...and I'm going to tell you why...

He's being doing what he does since 1967 and is still going strong! He doesn't nor has he done drugs he also doesn't drink alcohol. He doesn't change what he believes nom atter what people say...and he isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes and he isn't afraid to tell people were to stick it...

Orbital, the alias of UK brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll, are one of the best loved and most original electronic acts ever. I would even go so far as to state their album In Sides as the best electronic album ever composed. They were hyped as one of what I would term the "big four" of the 90's electronica movement-- Orbital, Prodigy, Underworld, and Leftfield-- but I think that Orbital's work holds far more timelessness and current relevance than the work of the other three bands. Their works are becoming more recognized as classics, not just among electronic works, but among music in general.

Sade

I've been hooked on Sade since first hearing her in the 80's during the height of her popularity.

Some of the most moving and heartfelt lyrics ever, she has captured the spectrum of excruciating pain to blissful joy in so many songs. The music itself is a smooth jazz/pop mixture I enjoy. And her voice, breathy and sultry just ... melts ... my... heart! I swear if I could marry that woman all she would need to do is sing to me.

My favorites in music change on about a weekly basis, hehe. But if I had to choose an all-time favorite, I'd have to say Collective Soul. They're easily the group who has the most songs on my mp3 player, plus their song "Heavy" is what I have my alarm set to play in the morning.

They were really big in the 90s, from what I know about them, but pretty much disappeared around 2000 for 4 years, until they released their newest album, Youth (which rocks, btw. :D ). I had never heard of them though, until a few years ago. My mom and I listened to a talk radio guy all the time, and he had this awesome electric guitar piece for his intro. Finally I caught it when somebody asked him what it was, and it was "Heavy." I've been addicted ever since. :D

Their site has an audio player where you can listen to some of their hits.

Hmm... This is hard for me, but I'm gonna say either Five Iron Frenzy, or Calibretto. These are the two bands that I have listened to more than any other bands, and I can still enjoy their music.
